Our Gender Advocates can help you navigate your gender congruence journey and get connected to resources.
Our Gender Advocates are not medical professionals, mental health professionals, legal professionals, or licensed social workers.
Gender Advocates are volunteer peer counselors who support other trans people through their gender journeys by helping them navigate systems and access affirming resources.
They are trans people helping other trans people thrive.

We believe that:
Ready to meet with a Gender Advocate?
When you submit a request for peer counseling services, you will be matched with a Gender Advocate who will reach out to schedule your first 30-min call with you. When possible, we work to match you with a Gender Advocate within 30 days, but sometimes our waitlist can be several months long.
Our support sessions are offered to trans and nonbinary folks free of charge for the first three sessions. For ongoing support, we offer our Gender Advocate support sessions on a sliding scale basis or provide referrals to trans-affirming mental health providers.
At this time, we are only able to offer our services to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
*Remember, we are volunteer peer counselors, not professionals or crisis counselors.
We want to reiterate that Gender Advocates are not medical professionals, mental health professionals, legal professionals, or licensed social workers. We are trans people helping other trans people achieve a sense of gender congruence, navigate institutions, and access affirming resources.
We are not a Crisis Hotline. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or feelings, we encourage you to call Trans Lifeline, a crisis hotline run by trans people for trans people.
You can reach Trans Lifeline at US (877) 565-8860 or Canada (877) 330-6366 or visit their website.
